Denim

Scarf- vintage
Denim- Primark (hand-me-down)
Belt- charity shop
Trousers- H&M
Shoes- River Island
Bag- River Island

This shirt is practically knee length on me so trying to tuck it into my trousers created some serious issues and made it look like I had big grannies on which is never really good.

This scarf has been through a few generations of my family and I love wearing it for a family feel. (My mum still doesnt know i stole it from her wardrobe.)

Sat in a beer garden today after uni with G&T's, ciders and cocktails which ultimately ended up with vodkas, shots and a sore head.. coursemates always get the better of you.

Quick post today because right now I should be on a bus going to the library.. study plans never pan out do they?

Converse & fur

Jeans- Topshop (old)
T-shirt- New Look
Fur jacket- Oasis
Shoes- Converse
Bag- Urban Outfitters
Sunglasses- Zara
Watch- Swatch

Was in such a rush today to get to uni for a lecture I thought was at 3 but it was at 12 (my flatmate laughed as I ran around, my hair soaking in a turban and dressing gown getting everything together.)

If I ever go for the sport lux trend its mainly when im in a rush or want to wear something comfy, this is why I secretly love it. Im not part of the very small tribe who can pull of trackies and wedgies, although I wish I was.. life would be so much comfier! So I often stick with converse and sporty looking sunnies and a baggy t-shirt and thats as far as I go.

Anyone been watching Mary Portas Bottom Line? I love her, she is a
genius when it comes to re-establishing and re-branding the highstreet and high street stores. Love her or hate her you have to give her credit for finding a gap in the market and seizing it. However, she does terrify me.

Pastel and Floral

T-shirt- New Look (charity shop)
Skirt- Urban Outfitters
Bag- Urban Outfitters
Wedges- New Look
Sunglasses- Jaeger
Necklace- gift
Rings- gifts

It was so sunny so my flatmate and myself decided to hit the beach and go for ice tea and cake. Then Scotland being Scotland and Scottish people being Scottish people and get too excited over the glimpse of the sun and blue skies, we bought ice cream and then the grey clouds came out. Oh well, least the sun was there for a bit.

I think i've expressed my love for Urban Outfitters in previous posts but I seriously do love it. This skirt is one of my favourite ones atm and its already starting to get bobbles on the side where my bag sits..

Looove my glasses, I got them at London Fashion Weekend after the Thursday show. I call them my cat glasses cause of the tips (is that sad?) Never really taken to Jaeger and find it a more executive style but I love these and I got another top that paint splattered (my bank balance is still recovering.)

One of my uni reports was handed in today and its St Paddy's day tomorrow (Im not Irish but love the whole atmosphere of it!) Anyone got anything nice planned for St Paddy's day?

Peg-legs

Jumper- F&F Tesco (charity shop)
Peg Legs- H&M
Shoes- River Island
Bag- River Island

I feel this jumpers a little too christmasy for March, but it is so comfy and I cant stop wearing it!

Do you remember peddle pushers? I had about 10 pairs when I was younger in every color when I was a cycling fanatic so my flares (yes, I used to wear flares.. oh the shame) so they didnt get caught in the chain. Anyway, I saw these in store and I love them so much i've got them in black, red and green.. Some things never change. The black also reminds me of Audrey Hepburn and if I had any wardrobe, her's would be high on my list.

I love this bag but it sits pure dodgy when I have heavy items in it (you can see it the 2nd photo) so it puts me off using it as much anymore which is a gutter because its my favorite bag. But hey..

Its Fridaaay :)!!

Floral

Dress- Primark (charity shop)
Belt- charity shop
Cardigan- vintage Burberry
Coat- New Look
Boots- Office
Bag- Urban Outfitters

Im home for a few days and this is what I travelled down in, a nice comfy dress and cardigan but smartened it up with the coat for the West End with my mum for this afternoon/evening.

This coat, I love- it can smarten up a fake Lacoste tracky. Im not exactly a tall person probably your normal size, so I have to wear heels with it so I dont look like I have elf legs.

Has everyone heard that this months Glossybox is a Harrods special? I stopped Glassybox a few months back to pay my bills (opps) but after I heard about the Harrods box I had to buy back into it and just going to cut down on junk buying ie a Starbucks everyday, ordering take out, start walking to uni and not use a bus... the list is endless!

Hope everyones week is going well so far :)

Hair: The Bun

I've only ever had the perfect bun from the age of 4 to 14 when I did ballet and used 1 can of hairspray and a packet of hair pins to hold it, now the doughnut has been created and the environment and my money saved. But i've never actually gone out and bought one and then the other day my flatmate showed me how to use a sock to do it... genius.

So you just get a sock and cut the end off (got these in a christmas cracker so please excuse the terrible design) and then roll it up from the cut off side first. Then tie your hair in a pony tail with a bobble and then roll the 'doughnut' from the tip down to the bobble. So simple!

(My hairs quite loose in this photo cause my bobbles about to snap)
But you could use hair clips to tie any loose ends and a bit of hairspray to be safe.

Hope everyones having a lovely weekend so far :)

Long awaited purchase of Marc Jacobs laptop case :)!!

Morning breakfast after a friends birthday night out, perfect!

(Overload with the photos here, but so many to show you all)

I went to London Fashion Weekend with my course and it was amazing. I've only been to London once when I was a wee guy and always thought it too corporate and business for me, but I take it back ITS AMAZING.

We saw collections by Jasper Conran, Game On, Prim Rose and Antipodium London and a few more and not being controversial here but I loved them all.

Walking down Oxford Street and through Covent Gardens is such a change from Aberdeen and Glasgow fashion wise. It changes the mind about what you believe as bold fashion and what you actually see as bold fashion. (Does this make sense?)

Last thing- I encourage all of you to get a Marc by Marc Jacobs laptop case. Best thing I've spent money on this year. They've sold out in a lot of places and when I went to Selfridges they only had the size bigger than my actual laptop in pink, but I bought it anyway... but isnt it just gorgeous!

You can find it here :)
