Isn't exam season just awful? I've been swamped with coursework and exams recently and I never really thought a baby pink and hot pink leopard print onesie was socially acceptable, especially on a blog.. (i've not left it in the last few days.) So my apologies for a severe lack of blogging!

This outfit is a throw on, run out, grab food and coffee, run back outfit so very basic with a blazer just thrown over to smarten it up. Its amazing how much a blazer can smarten something up, I left my black blazer in the library the other week and have been lost without it!

This week my flatmate and myself made white chocolate and blueberry scones.. they tasted as good as they sound, trust me!

  • 225g self raising flour

    55g butter

    25g caster sugar

    150ml milk

200g white chocolate (broken into pieces)

    3 handfuls of blueberries

    1 egg, beaten

Heat the oven to 220C/425F/Gas 7. Lightly grease a baking sheet.

Mix together the flour and salt and rub in the butter

Stir in the sugar and then add in chocolate pieces and blueberries.

Add in the milk and kneed into a soft dough.

Turn on to a floured work surface and peel apart the dough into just

short of palm shape sizes (should make about 7) and place on baking sheet. (probably best to use cutter to get a good shape, but we never so could work either way.)

Brush the tops of the scones with the beaten egg. Bake for 12-15

minutes until well risen and golden.

    Enjoy :)

Hope for those who have exam season that its going ok!
